Age UK Hertfordshire has now launched its new Permanent Power of Attorney (LPA) service for the elderly across Hertfordshire.
The experienced and quality assured Information and Advisory (I&A) team provides free and impartial information and advice to help you make an informed decision about LPAs and the different options available. They also offer a paid service that helps with the creation of the documents.
Mark Hanna, Interim Chief Executive, said, “We are pleased to have launched our new permanent power of attorney service.
“Our information and advisory team has worked hard on this new issue and has worked with local lawyers.”
Jana Kycinova, Information and Counseling Manager, said: “Without an LPA, your loved ones may find it difficult to support you.
“An LPA is a way of giving someone you trust, called an ‘attorney,’ the legal authority to make decisions on your behalf when you are unable to do so, so it is important to have one . “
