EastEnders followers worry Dot Cotton can be killed off-screen as Sonia positive factors energy of lawyer

EastEnders fans fear Dot Cotton will be killed off-screen after an off-screen reveal about Sonia Fowler.

On Monday night, Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) announced that she had been given power of attorney for her step-grandmother Dot Cotton (June Brown).

The news came after Sonia rowed with Dot’s biological granddaughter Kirsty “Dotty” Cotton (Milly Zero) about their betrayal at Ruby’s nightclub and Sonia’s niece, Tiffany Butcher-Baker (Maisie Smith), implicated in their plans.

Dotty pointed out that Sonia herself had stolen money from her grandmother Dot, but Sonia revealed that Dot now knew the truth, had given Sonia and also given her power of attorney.

Dot himself currently lives in Ireland with her grandson Charlie Cotton (Declan Bennett) and young son Matthew, whom he shared with the late Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack).
