EastEnders spoilers: Dot offers Sonia energy of legal professional and Dotty simmers

Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) was speechless in EastEnders tonight (April 19) when Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) dropped a giant bomb on Dot Branning (June Brown).

She revealed that Dot gave her power of attorney!

Sonia returned to the screens last week after her trip to Bex (Jasmine Armfield).

She got there just in time to hit the stalker Greg over the head after he went into her house to face Dotty and Tiffany Butcher-Baker (Maisie Smith).

Sonia berated Greg for terrorizing two young women before ordering him to leave.

However, Tiffany and Dotty soon found themselves on the receiving end of their anger when she demanded an explanation regarding the stolen money Greg spoke of.

When Sonia found out about the two girls’ money-making system, she was furious and told them to put an end to it.

More drama was to come, however, when Dotty tried to explain that Tiffany had moved in while Sonia was gone.

Sonia again berated Dotty for her decision-making authority and reminded her that she is not authorized to allow anyone else to move in.

It didn’t take long for Sonia to announce that Dot had given her power of attorney – meaning that she is in control of not only the house, but Dotty’s legacy as well!

Dotty was furious – but what will she do with this information?

EastEnders will continue on BBC One on Tuesday April 20 at 7:35 p.m.
