Harper Gray announced the addition of an Associate Counsel Jeff Sheremeta and associate Jeanne Posey to his business law group.
Sheremeta will partner with the corporate law group’s securities, mergers and acquisitions team, according to the firm’s press release. He brings over 20 years of experience, most of which as general counsel, to a number of companies, providing strategic advice and legal advice to business owners.
He attended the law school at the University of British Columbia. He was appointed to the British Columbia Bar in 1998 and was previously a senior in-house consultant with Vision Critical, a software company.
Posey has joined the Business Law Group’s will and inheritance team. She assists individuals and businesses with their succession and estate planning, focusing on both tax considerations and family dynamics.
She was previously with Moody’s Tax Law in Edmonton. She received her LLB from the University of Buckingham and her LLM from the University of British Columbia. She was appointed to the bar in Alberta in 2018 and to the bar in BC in 2021.
