Martin Lewis’ “pressing” warning to 1.three million Britons owed the ability of legal professional refund

Martin Lewis warned 1.3 million Brits who were owed money because they were unable to handle power of attorney requests.

During a segment of his ITV Money Show this week, the consumer expert spoke about the “urgent” refund process.

He commented, “Urgent. 1.3 million of you are owed proxy refunds.

“If you did it between April 2013 and March 2017 when it was £ 110 – that’s key.

“Now these can be both types of powers (LPA or EPA).”

The money saver said it was “that easy” to process your refund.

Martin added: “You are entitled to £ 54 per application …

“You don’t have to pay anyone. This is so easy.

“You go to the GOV.UK website, they have a claim form, you fill it out and they send you the money.

“Why am I doing this so urgently? Because your last chance is January 31st.

“It’s less than two months away – so go ahead.”

The amount you get back depends on when you applied for the power of attorney.

You need the donor’s bank details and a copy of the LPA (if available).
