The Jordanian cupboard endorses the 2021 Cash Trade Enterprise Law
(MENAFN – Jordanian News Agency) Amman, March 14th (Petra) – The cabinet announced at its session on Sunday, led by Prime Minister Dr. So far, Khasawneh has approved a bill amending the Currency Exchange Act of 2021.
The draft aims to regulate the behavior when issuing and receiving money transfers and to tighten the penalties for carrying out this process without a license.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet approved the Farm Workers ‘Statute for 2021 in view of the working conditions of the sector, which aimed to regulate its business activity, uphold workers’ rights without discrimination and ensure their social security coverage in accordance with the applicable Social Security Law.
The draft also protects workers’ wages and provides conditions for their safety and health in the workplace from work-related hazards and diseases, as well as ensuring them an adequate place of residence.
The Cabinet also approved recommendations from the Settlement and Arbitration Committee to resolve pending cases between 483 businesses and taxpayers and the Income Tax Department.
